Fringe Map is where people actively choose what to see: they pick a genre, a night, an area, and the map shows them their options. A promoted slot puts your show at the top of that moment, clearly labelled, for less than you pay one flyerer for one day. Your placement appears whenever your show matches what the visitor is looking at, for your whole run.

Genre Featured

Top of your genre page and the promoted strip when someone filters the map to your genre. 5 slots per genre, ever. Prices step as a genre fills:£99 · £149 · £199 · £249 · £299. The ladder is printed here before anyone buys, so early shows pay less. That is the whole pricing model.
Tile Featured
£249 for your whole run
Promoted placement on one of the map's intent pages: Tonight, Free, Family, Late Night, Under £10, Award Winners. Your show has to genuinely qualify for the tile (a kids' show cannot buy Late Night; we check in code, not on trust). 8 slots per tile.
Spotlight
£749 for your whole run
The map's default view, before any filter is applied — the first list every map visitor sees — plus everything in Genre Featured. 10 slots exist. When they are gone they are gone.

Every cap is real and this table is generated from the live placement ledger. Updates with each site deploy.
THE RULES — SAME FOR EVERYONE
- Promoted slots sit above the normal listings in a clearly labelled box. The normal listings are never reordered by money.
- The map itself is never for sale. No paid pins, no paid positions on the map. Promotion lives in lists and pages only.
- Every placement is labelled Promoted. Always.
- Money buys visibility, never credibility. Ratings on the map are real aggregate critic ratings and cannot be bought, boosted or hidden. Our editorial picks cannot be bought at any price.
- Your show only appears where it genuinely fits. Promotion that respects what the visitor asked for is discovery. Promotion that ignores it is spam, and we don't sell spam.
Three more things, so nobody has to take our word for it. Every show at the Fringe is on the map free, forever — promotion is an optional extra, never a toll. Changed your mind? 48-hour no-quibble refund on any slot. And each festival we gift a handful of promoted slots to self-funded shows, chosen on merit and labelled as gifted — they cannot be bought. If a slot oversells by accident you get an immediate refund and first refusal on the next opening. Caps never move mid-season.
