An apparently idyllic house boat trip is thrown into disarray when Diane (Rabe) and her children are rocked by revelations of financial strife kept secret by obstinate husband Ray (Ifans). At sea and with a chaotic holiday ahead of them, the family struggles to keep it together and face an uncertain future, but not before competing in a truly epic fishing competition.
