In the Spring of 1966, Marvel Comics were on a roll. Every series they produced was a hit. The Fantastic Four, The Incredible Hulk, The X-Men, you name it. But above them all, their best seller was The Amazing Spider-Man, the co-creation of writer Stan "The Man" Lee, and artist "Sturdy" Steve Ditko.
